The Language of Light
For more than thirty years, I have had the privilege of working with some of the finest gemstones in the world. They have long been at the heart of my work.
Through both my career and my studies in Vedic Astrology, I have come to know gemstones not only as rare objects of beauty, but as vessels of energy, symbolism, and healing.
I am pleased to share The Language of Light, a journal series exploring the nine sacred gemstones of Jyotish, or Vedic Astrology. Known in Sanskrit as the Navaratna, or “nine gems,” each gemstone corresponds to one of the nine celestial influences recognized in the Vedic tradition.
